Doctor told Tim Tebow's Mom to Abort Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow with the "controversial" John 3:16 under his eyes.

MIRACLE CHILD
Living in the Philippines as missionaries, Pam and her husband, Bob, who now heads the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association, had been told the baby she was carrying needed to be aborted because she had complications due to medication used for an amoeba infection.

“They didn’t recommend; they didn’t really give me a choice,” Tebow said. “That was the only option they gave me.”

At the same time doctors were telling her to have an abortion, Bob Tebow had been out preaching in the field. “He was so burdened about abortions taking place in America,” Tebow recalled.

“Lord, if you give us another son, then we’ll raise him to be a preacher,” Tebow recalls her husband praying. And so, with four little children and their parents heads bowed, the Tebow family prayed for a miracle.
“We all prayed for Timmy by name,” Tebow said. “It was a very serious prayer. We prayed that God would give us a Timothy.
“It was just amazing that God spared him, but we knew God has His hand on his life” Tebow said. “We all, through all these years, have told Timmy that.”
Tebow said she and her husband have told all of their children they are special and God has a “special” plan for their lives. Tim’s situation, however, was more intense because of the less predictable outcome.
“I guess it was a little more dramatic because we saw the miracle of Timmy’s birth and we continually reminded him, God has a special plan for your life,” Tebow said.
“It was sweet, it was a really a great beginning because you know when something is hard to come by, you value it so much,” Tebow said. “We value all our children, but all of our children value Timmy because they’d all had a part in praying for him.
“He is a well-loved kid,” Tebow said.
And it’s likely that security, fostered by a loving and caring family—along with a hearty dose of God-given talent—that’s allowed the young man to flourish as a leader both on the football field and on the mission field.
“Whether it’s fighting for the National Championship or fighting to see the Gospel brought to a country where people have never heard the name of Christ—I think that’s what probably has made him a good leader, that he’s passionate and that he’s not afraid to stand alone,” his mom said.
Tebow said she’s thought about Tim in the context of being the youngest child and how typically younger children follow their elders, but thinks the notion that he was raised very securely has helped him to develop into the strong leader he is.

Heisman Trophy Winner Tim Tebow Could Have Been a Victim of Abortion
TheWorld...IMHO Dec 10, 2007, 7:00 am

Congrats to Tim Tebow for winning the Heisman!
And God bless his mother for supporting life!

University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow became the first sophomore in the history of the NCAA to win the coveted Heisman Trophy as the best football player in the nation. However, Tebow's accomplishments may never have been supported has his mother followed a doctor's recommendation to have an abortion.

With 29 passing touchdowns and 22 rushing touchdowns, Tebow displayed the kind of versatility that has become more valued at the quarterback position.

Pam Tebow and her husband were Christian missionaries in the Philippines in 1985 and they prayed for "Timmy" before she became pregnant.

Unfortunately, as the Gainesville Sun reports, Pam entered into a coma after she contracted amoebic dysentery, an infection of the intestine caused by a parasite found in a contaminated food or drink.

The treatment for the medical condition would require strong medications that doctors told Pam had caused irreversible damage to Tim -- so they advised her to have an abortion.

As the Sun reported, Pam Tebow refused the abortion and cited her Christian faith as the reason for her hope that her son would be born without the devastating disabilities physicians predicted.

A Look Back at Margaret Sanger Art Contest Winners

The Margaret Sanger autobiography informs that "I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan...I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses...I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered." (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

When I read this account five years ago, I went on line to see how different artists and historians had handled this historic event. To my surprise, the event had been completely ignored. Something had to be done. The answer was the Margaret Sanger at the Ku Klux Klan Rally Art Contest. On January 16, 2005, our little art contest was born.

2008 Winner of the Margaret Sanger Art Contest was Rosary Films

2007 Winner of the Margaret Sanger Art Contest was Carrie Tomko

In a very close decision, Carrie Tomko won the 3rd Annual Margaret Sanger at the Klan Rally Art Contest. This was Carrie's winning entry:

Ms. Margaret and the Klan

There once was a woman named Margaret,
Who made Negro babies her target.
She longed to see less of them,
Courted the death of them,
Sanger, this woman named Margaret.

The wives of the Klansmen who meet
Disguised in voluminous sheet,
Gave her their attention
At secret convention
To learn of her childless technique.

Ms. Sanger was poorly impressed.
Elementary they are she confessed.
So childlike she found them,
Dumbed her talk down for them,
Sanger their arrogant guest.

The organization she ran
Has snuffed out more blacks than the Klan,
Yet people aren't frighted,
But rather delighted,
Embracing the Parenthood Planned.

The judges were greatly impressed by all the entries. Fellow judge, Jill Stanek, noted, "I could tell contestants worked hard to incorporate your theme. Very creative lot!"

A very, very close second place (and winner of the reader poll!) was Chris Chan and his poweful short play, "The Killed Story."

Third place went to Bill Hailey and his terrific poem, "Such a Loving Margaret Sanger." Be sure to check out more of Bill's work (and link to it!) at his blog, "Bill's Big Blog" - - great stuff!

Thanks also went to The Catholic Caveman and the unknown writer of Haikus for their strong entries.

Special thanks to our 2007 Margaret Sanger Art Contest judges, Sean Dailey and Jill Stanek.

Jill Stanek, the pro-life expert on Obama, reveals Obama's biggest lie about supporting infanticide

Our favorite pro-life blogger, Jill Stanek, simply destroys Obama (again) in her article today at Worldnetdaily. Go read it at Worldnetdaily, Obama's biggest lie about supporting infanticide, or help keep the lively discussion going at Freerepublic, Jill Stanek: Obama's biggest lie about supporting infanticide :

On June 25, CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked conservative commentator Bill Bennett what question he would ask Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama if he could.
Bennett said he would ask Obama:

Why are you to the left of NARAL, Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein when it comes to abortion? Are you really there? ... I got to question the guy's moral judgment who doesn't see a problem with killing a baby after it's been born. … What is the answer to that question?

Bennett was speaking about Obama's opposition to Illinois' Born Alive Infants Protection Act as state senator. This legislation declared all live babies legal persons, which would guarantee them the right to appropriate medical care, even if abortion survivors.

(To which Obama defender Donna Brazile responded, "Bill, you want to have a conversation about narrow issues … but the American people want to talk about gas prices. …")

Over the years, Obama or his surrogates have mischaracterized Illinois' Born Alive Infants Protection Act and his reasons for opposing it at least 10 different ways.

STUDENTS AGAINST MARGARET SANGER: HOW SFLA IS EXPOSING BIG ABORTION'S RACISM

STUDENTS AGAINST MARGARET SANGER:HOW SFLA IS EXPOSING BIG ABORTION'S RACISM

by Colin Mason

Margaret Sanger is one of the pro-choice movement's iconic figures. She is extolled as a pioneering feminist, health worker, and woman's activist. Her quotes on these subject are treated as scripture. But she was also an outspoken supporter of eugenics, who wanted more children from the fit and sterilization, even segregation, for the unfit. The infamous Negro Project, which targeted Blacks for contraception and sterilization, was one outcome of this.
Planned Parenthood, of course, does not want you know these facts. So the organization works hard to burnish Sanger's reputation, and goes into damage control mode whenever questions are raised about her more unsavory views. At the same time, however, they continue to quietly practice what she preached.

Although Planned Parenthood denies it, it continues to be obsessed with race, deliberately targeting minorities in their propaganda, methods, and even choice of building sites.
Consider the recent investigation of Planned Parenthood by UCLA pro-lifers working with Students for Life of America (SFLA). Their goal was to see if Planned Parenthood would accept donations specifically for the abortion of black babies. The students first determined where it was legal to secretly record telephone conversations, and then made arrangements to call Planned Parenthood abortuaries in those states. An actor was hired, and the calls were made from the Students for Life offices in Arlington. The results of the calls were published in The Advocate, UCLA's pro-life student magazine, but the story attracted the attention of the major media.

In the recorded conversations, the actor made it clear that he was a racist, saying things like "there are too many black babies being born." He also insisted that his donations be specifically earmarked for the abortion of black babies. Most organizations would want nothing to do with an openly racist proposition of this kind, but Planned Parenthood personnel were only too happy to accept them.

"The Idaho Planned Parenthood development director expressed excitement," Kristan Hawkins, the executive director of Students for Life, said to PRI. "She said she wanted to make sure she was getting everything down because this was the first time this had happened to her and she was very excited. She also laughed when the actor said 'the less black babies out there, the better,' and said 'understandable, understandable.' And in Ohio, the administrative assistant contacted said 'we'll take your money for whatever reason.'"

The investigation was part of SFLA's larger push against Planned Parenthood. Not only does Planned Parenthood accept racist donations, it has a propensity for building clinics in minority neighborhoods. Students for Life's push against Planned Parenthood is to be admired not only for its courage, but for its ability to mobilize the black community against the outrages that are being committed against it.

Margaret Sanger, outspoken proponent of eugenics and founder of Planned Parenthood

On April 24th, Students for Life organized a demonstration at the 16th Street Planned Parenthood abortuary in Washington DC. Prominent black leaders and pastors stood up and demanded that Congress cease funding this transparently racist organization. These included back leaders like Day Gardner (National Black Pro-Life Union), Jesse Lee Peterson (Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny), Dr. Lillie Epps (Preserving Life and Legacy), Rev. Clenard Childress (LEARN), and others.

"The pastors and leaders emphasized the recent allegations that have been brought against Planned Parenthood," said Hawkins. These included other inquiries and accusations being brought to bear against Planned Parenthood across the nation by other groups and organizations, like the ongoing fight against Planned Parenthood's fraud in Aurora, Illinois, the battle against their unethical practices by Kansas attorney Phill Kline, and the charges made earlier by the same UCLA students that Planned Parenthood covers up instances of statutory rape.

Planned Parenthood, predictably, insists that it is not a racist organization, but refuses to address the substance of the allegations. It does admit that its development directors showed a "a serious lack of judgment," saying that "had the employees been properly prepared for this kind of attack, they would have figured out that the calls were nothing short of a cruel hoax, designed to portray Planned Parenthood as money-grubbing racists." In other words, Planned Parenthood is claiming that the student investigators (mean and spiteful right-wingers) somehow tricked its sophisticated fundraisers into sounding like "money-grubbing racists." To which we say "If they sounded like money-grubbing racists," this is because they probably are money-grubbing racists. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck ..

More and more instances are cropping up all over the nation where Planned Parenthood has been guilty of overt or implicit racial profiling. Recent research by PRI shows that even Alaska natives and Native Americans are being targeted as well, even though they are the tiniest of tiny minorities. PRI hopes that the pioneering research being done by groups like Students for Life and The Advocate will join the fast-expanding body of evidence that will indict Planned Parenthood, and the genocidal legacy of Margaret Sanger, once and for all.

The Queen of Liberal Fascism: Margaret Sanger

NRO has a great excerpt today from Goldberg's book: Liberal Fascism. It deals with his chapter on Margaret Sanger.

Read it here: A Dark PastContraception, abortion, and the eugenics movement.

I'll have some comments on this later.

Under the banner of “reproductive freedom,” Sanger subscribed to nearly all of the eugenic views discussed above. She sought to ban reproduction of the unfit and regulate reproduction for everybody else. She scoffed at the soft approach of the “positive” eugenicists, deriding it as mere “cradle competition” between the fit and the unfit. “More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief issue of birth control,” she frankly wrote in her 1922 book The Pivot of Civilization. (The book featured an introduction by Wells, in which he proclaimed, “We want fewer and better children...and we cannot make the social life and the world-peace we are determined to make, with the ill-bred, ill-trained swarms of inferior citizens that you inflict on us.” Two civilizations were at war: that of progress and that which sought a world “swamped by an indiscriminate torrent of progeny.”

A fair-minded person cannot read Sanger’s books, articles, and pamphlets today without finding similarities not only to Nazi eugenics but to the dark dystopias of the feminist imagination found in such allegories as Margaret Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale. As editor of The Birth Control Review, Sanger regularly published the sort of hard racists we normally associate with Goebbels or Himmler. Indeed, after she resigned as editor, The Birth Control Review ran articles by people who worked for Goebbels and Himmler. For example, when the Nazi eugenics program was first getting wide attention, The Birth Control Review was quick to cast the Nazis in a positive light, giving over its pages for an article titled “Eugenic Sterilization: An Urgent Need,” by Ernst RĂ¼din, Hitler’s director of sterilization and a founder of the Nazi Society for Racial Hygiene. In 1926 Sanger proudly gave a speech to a KKK rally in Silver Lake, New Jersey.

One of Sanger’s closest friends and influential colleagues was the white supremacist Lothrop Stoddard, author of The Rising Tide of Color Against White World-Supremacy. In the book he offered his solution for the threat posed by the darker races: “Just as we isolate bacterial invasions, and starve out the bacteria, by limiting the area and amount of their food supply, so we can compel an inferior race to remain in its native habitat.” When the book came out, Sanger was sufficiently impressed to invite him to join the board of directors of the American Birth Control League.

Daniel J. Flynn on America's Racist Left

Daniel Flynn has a brilliant article over at National Review, America's Racist LeftInstead of merely ignoring the problems of African Americans, socialists and progressives actively contributed to them.

“There can be no doubt that the negroes and mulattoes constitute a lower race,” Victor Berger, long the Socialist Party’s lone congressman, contended. “You know that capitalism never examines the color of the skin when it buys labor power,” the party’s national committeeman from Texas complained. When socialists acknowledged racial discrimination, they paternalistically counseled black Americans to abandon their selfish “personal” struggle for the “universal” struggle of the class war, which, when won, would magically solve all problems.

Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger spoke at a 1926 Ku Klux Klan rally, used the “n” word in reference to blacks, and deemed Aboriginal Australians “the lowest known species of the human family, just a step higher than the chimpanzee in brain development.” “The Jewish people and Italian families,” she testified to the New York legislature, “who are filling the insane asylums, who are filling the hospitals and filling our feeble-minded institutions, these are the ones the tax payers have to pay for the upkeep of, and they are increasing the budget of the State, the enormous expense of the State is increasing because of the multiplication of the unfit in this country and in the State.”

Modern Soupers: How Will History Judge Catholics for Obama?

This article is a bit old, but it certainly pertains to the shameless sellouts who make up the abortion front group, Roman Catholics for Obama:

Another 'Souper' Candidate?

***
During the Great Irish Potato Famine in the mid1800's, antiCatholic zealots would occasionally bring large kettles of soup to Irish villages. The soup was free, but there was a catch. Before a starving Irishman could have even a sip of the soup, he would first have to renounce his Catholic faith.

So strong was the Catholic faith in Ireland at the time that many starved to death rather than selling their souls. However, a few did drink the soup. They became known as "soupers" — a derisive label that would stick to their families for generations.

Today, we are witnessing a similar reallife morality play. Only this one doesn't involve Irish farmers starving for food. This one involves ambitious politicians starving for power. The soup these politicians are being asked to drink is a concoction of lies and distortions brewed up by the radical feminists and abortion profiteers who now control the Democratic Party. The reward for drinking this soup of death is the right to run for president as a Democrat.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Teddy Kennedy was among those first in line for a taste of the soup. In a 1971 letter, the then prolife Teddy Kennedy wrote, "The legalization of abortion on demand is not in accordance with the value which our civilization places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its earliest stages, has certain rights which must be recognized — the right to be born, the right to love, the right to grow old." By 1980, Teddy had sipped the soup and was running for President as an outspoken supporter of abortion.

Likewise Jesse Jackson, before deciding to run for president, called abortion "black genocide." In 1977, Jackson wrote an article for National Right to Life News and stated: "It takes three to make a baby: a man, a woman and the Holy Spirit. What happens to the mind of a person, and the moral fabric of a nation, that accepts the aborting of the life of a baby without a pang of conscience? What kind of a person and what kind of a society will we have 20 years hence if life can be taken so casually?" By 1988, Jackson had also sipped the soup and was running for President as an outspoken supporter of abortion.

Al Gore and Dick Gephardt are two more former prolifers who indulged in the soup and discarded their support for the unborn in preparation for a run for the presidency. And of course, few have gulped down the soup of death with the gusto of Bill Clinton, a man well known for his insatiable appetites. In a 1986 letter to Arkansas Right to Life, Clinton wrote: "I am opposed to abortion and to government funding of abortions. We should not spend state funds on abortions because so many people believe abortion is wrong." As we all know, Clinton went on to become the most radically proabortion President in our nation's history.

***

There will come a day in history when our society as a whole awakens and unanimously recognizes the horror of abortion. When that day comes, historians will look back at our time trying to figure out how such a national tragedy could have occurred. These historians will read our newspapers, pore over our correspondence, view our news programs, and examine our voting records. And just as today's historians look back at Nazi Germany concerned solely as to whether or not individuals bravely fought for life or silently consented to a regime of death, historians in the future will be solely concerned with whether or not we spoke up for our unborn brothers and sisters or silently consented to a Culture of Death.

As lifeaffirming generations in the future look back at us, few will be treated more harshly than the modern soupers. Highly educated, outspoken, and passionate, they could have made a difference. They knew the truth. And, for a short time, they were willing to speak out for the unborn. But then the price got too high. They became cowards. Starved for power, they each drank the soup of death. May God have mercy on their souls.

Obama Uses Troop Bill to Funnel $$$ to Planned Parenthood & Planned Parenthood to Spend $10 Million to Elect Democrats

Three news items this week again highlight the corrupt manner in which our tax dollars are doled out to evildoers throughout our country. These three items also hammer home why the GOP is known as the Stupid Party. If the Planned Parenthood is going to spend $10 million a year to elect Democrats, why do so many Republicans continue to vote to give $330 million a year to Klanned Parenthood? Never mind that giving money to Klanned Parenthood is like donating sand to the Sahara Desert. But with one hand Planned Parenthood accepts $330 million of our tax dollars from the Dirty Dozen Republicans and their Democratic friends , and with the other hand they write $10 million dollars worth of checks to beat the candidate these same Republicans are backing.

First we read that Democrats Give a Discount to Planned Parenthood by using a bill designed to help fund our troops. According to CitizenLink.com, on Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted on an amendment to the War Supplemental Appropriations Bill. Democrats, led by Sen. Barack Obama, had inserted language to help Planned Parenthood into the domestic-spending portion of this troop-funding bill. The Senate passed the amendment 75-22.

Next a note from Father Pavone of Priests for Life concerning what we can expect from the billion dollar Big Abortion Lobby:

In fact, two of the largest pro-abortion organizations – NARAL and Planned Parenthood – have announced they plan to spend $10,000,000 each to influence voters and counteract the kind of work organizations like us are doing. You read that correctly: TEN MILLION DOLLARS EACH ... a total of $20,000,000!!!

Finally, we have this tidbit from the Family Research Council concerning the GOP's Dirty Dozen, twelve Republicans begging President Bush to help keep our $330 Million tax dollars flowing to Planned Parenthood - - in essence robbing the poor to give to the rich abortion profiteers.

The GOP's Dirty Dozen

May 23, 2008

Yesterday, 12 Republicans, led by Rep. Mark Kirk (Ill.), quietly sent a letter to President Bush asking him to keep the current Title X regulations. The current rules bar pro-life groups from receiving Title X funds and allow groups like Planned Parenthood (PP) to use dollars to help keep their profitable abortion business viable.

The existing Title X policy was put in place by President Clinton, who overturned President Reagan's regulations which protected taxpayer monies by separating the supposedly clean side of PP's business (PAP and breast cancer screening, HIV testing, etc.) from the abortion side.

A large majority of Americans believe that the federal government should not be funding abortionists, yet that is exactly what President Clinton's regulations, which have been maintained by President George W. Bush, do.

If this Dirty Dozen were really serious about protecting the supposedly legitimate side of PP, they would welcome new regulations to protect those efforts.

In light of recent revelations that PP clinics across the nation have been involved in racism, defrauding taxpayers and complicit in the statutory rape of young girls, someone should ask these appeasers of abortion and bad government why they seek to shield potential criminal activity.

If President Bush fails to act, our future President should. These changes are necessary to protect women and to protect PP from itself.

Contact your congressmen if they appear in the following "Dirty Dozen" list and express your disappointment:

Porn Peddler Praises Planned Parenthood Website for Teens - Teenwire

David Mech, or David Pounder as he's known in pornography circles, said that Planned Parenthood's Web site for teens, Teenwire.com, is an excellent source for young people to learn about what he considers the benefits of viewing pornography. Mech contacted Cybercast News Service after reading its report about Teenwire.

"Planned Parenthood is an excellent organization that helps people by focusing on how people actually are behaving (i.e., having sex, watching porn, doing drugs, etc.), as opposed to helping people based on how they should be behaving (abstaining from sex, watching the news, eating healthy, etc.)," Mech, a pornography producer and actor, told Cybercast News Service.

"Men in their teens are accessing porn, and I think it's a normal thing," he said.

Mech, who said he was first exposed to pornography at 13 or 14 through a friend, agrees with Planned Parenthood's approach of promoting pornography "as an alternative to having sex," especially if Teenwire.com's advice on "outercourse" helps reduce sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

He added that in today's society, where young people are encouraged to earn a college degree before marriage, Teenwire.com is providing content, including tips on viewing pornography that modern teens need.

"It used to be that people got married at 13 or 14 years old," Mech said. "It's unrealistic (today) to expect people not to have sex before marriage."

That's why, Mech said, sex education shouldn't rely on an abstinence-only approach.

"I think teens are going to have sex regardless," Mech said. "Comprehensive sex education is the way to go, and if pornography is included as part of the program, that's okay. "Planned Parenthood is doing an exceptional job," Mech said.

The Curt Jester: Only Moloch is more pro-abortion than Obama

We are not really sure how anyone can not understand the fact that Obama is the most radically pro-abortion candidate of all time, but if you are not convinved, check out the Curt Jester today:

Only Moloch is more pro-abortion than Obama

The Washington Times, as pointed out by Pro Ecclesia * Pro Familia * Pro Civitate , has a great editorial today on the same issue:

... Mr. Obama's record on abortion is radical and extreme — even by the
standards of his own party. He voted against a ban on partial-birth abortion and
criticized the Supreme Court's decision to uphold the ban; he voted against
prohibitions on taking a minor across state lines for an abortion; and most
appalling of all, he voted against providing legal protection for babies who
survive an abortion. Mr. Obama's inability to recognize the inhumanity of his
position staggers pro-lifers: Partial-birth abortion is infanticide because the
baby's brains are extracted during birthing. Mr. Obama does not even support
providing legal protection for babies who survive an abortion. For his unbending
pro-choice stance, the Illinois senator received a 100 percent score from NARAL
in 2005, 2006 and 2007...

The Catholic Knight Explains Genocide American Style

Genocide American Style

I have always believed that the black population in the United States of America is the victim of a systematic and insidious type of genocide. No, the culprit is not drugs, and no it's not AIDS either. The culprit is abortion on demand. Abortion disproportionately affects blacks in this nation by a sizable margin, and this is not by accident.

I believe it is by design.I personally believe that certain people, both in the present and the past, have planned a clever way for blacks to exterminate themselves using abortion. This is done by focused marketing of abortion to black women. I believe the origin of this is racist to the core, and it is the final insult to the black race in this land. What began as slavery was latter institutionalized as segregation. When segregation failed, abortion (extermination) became their solution.

So who's behind it? Take a good look around and see who the biggest advocates of abortion are.Planned Parenthood, was founded by Margaret Sanger, who was a racist of the worst sort, advocating Nazi style extermination of 'undesirables.' She referred to blacks as "human weeds" and "reckless breeders." She said they were "spawning... human beings who never should have been born." (Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization) This is the FOUNDER of Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest advocate of abortion on demand, and biggest provider of abortion to black women. (read more here)

Every year politicians bow down to the political might of this organization, and through our own government, they are able to keep abortion legal and subsidized with American tax dollars.

Who Said That? Margaret Sanger or Neo-Nazi Tom Metzger

If you are new to our blog and have never taken the quiz, please be sure to do so:

Who Said That: Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger or Neo-Nazi Tom Metzger?

Go See Expelled - and read this review

The History of Eugenics is in Expelled by Leticia Velasquez

The dark history of the shameful movement underpinning the biggest human atrocities of the 20th century was powerfully outlined by Ben Stein in his important documentary which is a must-see for anyone serious about science, about faith, and about freedom. Did I leave anybody out?

Stein followed the scientific community’s lockstep loyalty to Darwinism backwards in time, and ended up at the Nazi gas chambers, which first killed disabled people. They were just practicing Darwinism, by speeding up the process of natural selection, formerly called survival of the fittest, by eliminating “useless eaters”. Society bought into this toxic mentality because it came from doctors and scientists.

He followed their trail to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, who was a dedicated eugenicist, working overtime to rid the world of people like my immigrant grandparents. While she was ostensibly offering women choice, secretly she was seeking to rid American society of the ‘unfit’. More Darwinism in action. We are still in the midst of the nightmare of Sanger’s legacy; 46 million Americans have died of abortion, far surpassing the darkest dreams of Hitler and Stalin together.

Rocky River Leader Calls on Bishop Richard Lennon to Join Fight to Close Planned Parenthood Clinic

March 29, 2008

For Immediate Release

ROCKY RIVER – Fred Sokol, chairman of Stop Abortion in Rocky River committee is calling for Rocky River and the Most Reverend Richard G. Lennon, Bishop, Diocese of Cleveland to pray with him and a prayer group. To support “Life” in Rocky River on the “Sidewalk of Prayer” in front of (Rocky River Planned Parenthood at 20800 Center Ridge Road where they offer medical abortion service.)

We peacefully gather in Rocky River – Tuesday from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. All are welcome to pray with us.

We pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and pray the 15 Decade Most Holy Rosary for the unborn, for our City and for the World. We also hold signs that state: ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN and THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

“We also call out to mothers and fathers who are now thinking about killing their unborn baby by abortion to allow the baby to be born alive. Then give us the unwanted baby. For we will take that baby that you do not want and we will find a loving home for that child,” continues Sokol.

Since I joined the prayer group in September/2007 and wrote about my initial experiences with the prayer group. God (not us) has transformed the front of Rocky River Planned Parenthood to a sidewalk of prayer. Allowing the prayer group through their trials and tribulations at prayer … to benefit others such as the following” says Sokol.

“A friend of mine had inoperable cancer. We as a group prayed for her and she is now clean of cancer. She had cancer that spread through her body. To try to remove the cancer, the doctors did radical surgery on her. The doctors were not able to remove all the cancer. The doctors told her she had inoperable cancer. That was in October 2007. At the time I just started to pray with the prayer group at the Sidewalk of Prayer. After six (6) months of praying with the group for her cure. She is now clean of cancer! Praise God,” says Sokol.

“Would you like to join us in prayer? For the Unborn, for our City, for Each Other while being screamed at and having fists and obscene gestures shaken at you by motorists as they race by you? Would you also endure sub freezing temperatures with blowing snow, and bone chilling winds off the Lake? Or can you stand in a torrential downpour of rain while praying the 15 decade rosary and reciting the Chaplet of Divine Mercy?”

If so, there is a place for you on the Sidewalk of Prayer with us and God will answer your prayers for others as well”, says Sokol.

Message to those who are now thinking about killing their unborn baby, by abortion.

“We also call out to mothers and fathers who are now thinking about killing their unborn baby by abortion to allow the baby to be born alive. Then give us the unwanted baby. For we will take that baby that you do not want and we will find a loving home for that child.”

Planned Parenthood: The Medical Arm of the Ku Klux Klan

What a great line from this essay on Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood by leftist blogger Hugo Schwyzer, The Troubled Sanger Legacy, Some Thoughts on Planned Parenthood:

Even now, I regularly hear from students — usually of color — who have been told (often by pastors in the African American church) that Planned Parenthood is, as one young woman put it, “the medical arm of the Ku Klux Klan”.

Why Do Liberals Hate Recreations of Margaret Sanger Speaking to the Ku Klux Klan?

It is a historical fact that Margaret Sanger spoke at a cross burning Ku Klux Klan Rally. She even admits it in her autobiography:

"I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan...I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses...I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered." (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

So why do liberals hate when this event is recreated artistically?

This year's contest starts in late September and this year we have been promised a video from some very bright and creative students. Should be fun!

The New York Sun Reviews "A Conservative History of the American Left"

The New York Sun Reviews A Conservative History of the American Left by Daniel Flynn.

The book contains a very interesting chapter on Margaret Sanger and points out that Sanger once spoke at a Ku mKlux Klan rally.

Here is an excerpt from the NY Sun Review:

By CHRISTOPHER WILLCOX May 5, 2008

Whatever its shortcomings — including a sharply polemical tone throughout and an occasional failure to differentiate between the democratic left and its totalitarian variant — "A Conservative History of the American Left" by Daniel J. Flynn (Crown Forum, 464 pages, $27.50) is a remarkable compendium of American utopian and collectivist follies. Its greatest strengths lie at 30,000 feet, where generalizations about the left's ideals and delusions concerning the creation of heaven on earth are spot-on, and, moreover, observable across the whole of the nation's history. When it fails, it is in the details, especially with regard to the significant role played by some liberal Democrats in exposing and opposing Soviet Communism.

A bonus for conservatives: Mr. Flynn's frequent, even relentless, forays into the dirty laundry of some of liberalism's dearest icons. We learn that Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger, once spoke at a Ku Klux Klan rally and was a lifelong advocate for not only planned, but "selective" breeding, and that utopian planner Robert Owen pointedly excluded blacks from his failed experiment in New Harmony, Ind. Even though some of them finally woke up and snapped out of it, periodicals the Nation and the New Republic, philosopher John Dewey, and social worker Jane Addams served as megaphones for Lenin's early brutalities. And the beat goes on. Later, the New York Times couldn't find a famine in the Ukraine under Stalin.

Six Quotes Hint Why Marget Sanger Received "a dozen invitations" to speak at Ku Klux Klan Rallies

Margaret Sanger wrote about her Ku Klux Klan speech in her autobiography, "I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan...I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses...I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered." (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)

What did she say in her talk at the KKK Rally that led to twelve more invitations? Well, take a look at some of her past quotes:

1) "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

Also described in Linda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

2) "Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock."

Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review.

3) "Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying ... demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism ... [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant ... We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all."

5) "Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."

A Great Washington Times Editorial on Planned Parenthood, Racism and Margaret Sanger

The abortion industry

It is well known that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, aligned herself with the eugenicists concerned with eliminating undesirables from the population. Moreover, Sanger received and accepted an invitation to address a Ku Klux Klan chapter and gave a speech that led to additional Klan invitations. Although we do not know what she said, we do know that recently questions have been raised about racism at Planned Parenthood clinics.

Documented in a widely-circulated recording and transcript, a UCLA student researcher for a pro-life magazine hired a professional actor in February 2008 to call Planned Parenthood clinics around the country, offering donations to "lower the number of black people" by targeting black babies for abortion. She found Planned Parenthood clinics in seven states that agreed to take the monies. Not one Planned Parenthood employee objected to the caller's racist remarks or purposes.

New Video: Margaret Sanger, the KKK, Planned Parenthood, Black Genocide

You will want to see this one:

Margaret Sanger, the KKK, Planned Parenthood, Black Genocide

Planned Parenthood of Idaho Apologizes for Targeting Black Babies

Citizenlink.org reports that Planned Parenthood has apologized for targeting black babies for abortions. Of course, targeting black babies has been part of Planned Parenthood's game plan since the very beginning. The foundress, Margaret Sanger, spoke at a Ku Klux Klan rally and was so well received that she was flooded with similar invitations. So while Planned Parenthood may be apologizing for once again giving its game away, don't look for Planned Parenthood to stop killing black babies any time soon. The Planned Parenthood clinics will remain in predominantly black neighborhoods and rich bigoted whites liberals will continue to finance Black Genocide.

Planned Parenthood of Idaho Apologizes for Targeting Black Babies

The nation's largest abortion provider has apologized for accepting racist donations.
Planned Parenthood of Idaho assured a caller that his donation would be used to abort black babies, the Idaho Statesman reported. It has since apologized.

The Advocate, a pro-life student magazine at the University of California-Los Angeles, hired an actor last summer to call Planned Parenthood posing as a donor who wanted his money used to abort black babies. Autumn Kersey, vice president of development and marketing for Planned Parenthood of Idaho, took the call and welcomed the donation.

The Advocate has released transcripts and audio recordings of the phone call. Planned Parenthood is accusing The Advocate of trying to discredit its employees and is threatening to sue.

Lila Rose, editor in chief of the magazine, led the investigation and said Planned Parenthood’s response comes as no surprise. She said the unedited recordings speak for themselves.
“Seventy-nine percent of their clinics are in minority neighborhoods,” she said. “They offer special incentive programs for black women and other minorities to get free abortions, under the misnomer of ‘Women in Need’ and ‘Justice’ funds.

“An African-American baby conceived in this country is just about as likely to be aborted as it is to be born.”

The Advocate has recordings from six other Planned Parenthood clinics that also agreed to accept donations to abort black babies. The magazine is calling for the UCLA administration to immediately cut ties with Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood: Living out the Racist Vision of Margaret Sanger

Great article from the California Catholic Daily:

And be sure to see this video documenting the racism of Planned Parenthood

“They live out her racist vision”

Covert investigation by UCLA students finds Planned Parenthood still wedded to founder’s bigoted views

A 19 year-old sophomore at UCLA continues to shake up pro-abortion forces with her investigative reporting, most recently by revealing Planned Parenthood’s indifference to racism when it benefits them.

Lila Rose, editor of The Advocate, a student magazine devoted to “educating the UCLA community about the right to life for all human beings,” had an actor posing as a prospective donor call Planned Parenthood in five states, offering to give money to “lower the number of blacks in America” and other racially motivated reasons. Not one Planned Parenthood employee rejected the money, nor did any of them object to the racist rhetoric of the caller.

Below is an exchange taken from one of the calls, during which the fake donor spoke with Autumn Kersey, director of development for Planned Parenthood of Idaho:

Donor: The abortion -- I can give money specifically for a black baby, that would be the purpose?

PP Rep: Absolutely. If you wanted to designate that your gift be used to help an African-American woman in need, then we would certainly make sure that the gift was earmarked for that purpose.

Donor: Great, because I really faced trouble with affirmative action, and I don’t want my kids to be disadvantaged against black kids. I just had a baby; I want to put it in his name. PP Rep: Yes, absolutely.

Donor: And we don’t, you know we just think, the less black kids out there the better.

PP Rep: Understandable, understandable.

Donor: Right. I want to protect my son, so he can get into college.

PP Rep: All right. Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I’ve had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I’m excited, and want to make sure I don’t leave anything out.

Rose says she got the idea for the calls by reading about Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. “She was a racist and eugenicist,” said Rose. “She literally wanted to use sterilization and abortion as a tool to wipe out minority populations, especially the black community. Yet today, they (Planned Parenthood) honor their founder, this racist, with the Margaret Sanger Award that they give out.” Rose continued, “At the same time, they live out her racist vision on a practical level by targeting the African-American and minority communities. Seventy-nine percent of their clinics are in minority neighborhoods. They offer special incentive programs for black women and other minorities to get free abortions, under the misnomer of ‘Women in Need’ and ‘Justice’ funds. In fact, in our investigation, employees told us about special funds that were set up for minority women.

“The African-American community is impacted by this more than any other group because the statistics show that 13 percent of women are African-American, but they get more than 36 percent of all abortions. An African-American baby conceived in this country is just about as likely to be aborted as it is to be born.”

So far, The Advocate has released transcripts and recordings from just two of the states, Idaho and Ohio. The other three states will be released soon.

This is not the first time Rose has conducted undercover work to expose Planned Parenthood’s dark agenda. Last year, posing as an underage pregnant girl with an adult boyfriend, she secretly videotaped Planned Parenthood employees in Los Angeles telling a girl they believed to be 15 years old to "figure out a birth-date that works" to prevent statutory rape charges against her supposed 23-year-old boyfriend.

In addition to publishing a story about it in The Advocate, Rose posted the videos on YouTube. On May 14, 2007, Planned Parenthood sent Rose a cease and desist letter by registered mail demanding that she stop the calls, relinquish all recordings and transcripts and remove them from the Internet. Rose has not complied.

Planned Parenthood: Wanting fewer blacks 'understandable'

First of all, YOU MUST SEE THIS VIDEO

Thanks to Dani for the tip.

From World Net Daily:

Planned Parenthood: Wanting fewer blacks 'understandable'
Abortion provider says 'yes' when 'donor' wants to reduce minorities

By Bob Unruh

A student-run magazine at UCLA has revealed an undercover investigation in which representatives of Planned Parenthood, the nation's abortion industry leader, admitted willingness to accepting a financial donation targeting the destruction of an unborn black baby.

Lila Rose, who edits The Advocate, previously revealed how Planned Parenthood officials expressed a willingness to conceal statutory rape, an investigative piece that earned her an appearance on the Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor."

Now she's told WND she hopes the taped responses of Planned Parenthood officials in seven states reveal to her local UCLA community and the nation the racist leanings of the organization.

WND calls to Planned Parenthood of Idaho, which was featured in The Advocate report, requesting a comment were not returned.

"Students on campus are shocked and saddened that such a huge organization would have racist leanings in the present day," Rose told WND. "They are surprised to hear the truth about [Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger, and how the African-American community is being hurt by abortion.

"There's a lot of surprise out there. Planned Parenthood does an excellent job of covering up the facts," she said.

Sanger supported eugenics to cull those she considered unfit from the population. In 1921, she said eugenics is "the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems."

At one point, Sanger lamented "the ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all." Another time, Sanger wrote, "We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."

According to Bryan Fisher, executive director of Idaho Values Alliance, Planned Parenthood, which gets an estimated $200 million annually from U.S. taxpayers, has located nearly 80 percent of its clinics nationwide in minority neighborhoods, and about one-third of all abortions are performed on blacks, even though they make up only 13 percent of the population.

Nationwide, almost half of all black pregnancies end in abortion, officials said.

"It turns out that blatant racism is alive and well in Idaho, but it's not coming from the Aryan Nation types – it's coming from way-left organizations like Idaho's own Planned Parenthood," Fischer said. "If Idaho is in fact a haven for white racism, it turns out that Planned Parenthood and not Richard Butler is to blame."

Richard Butler, who died in 2004, was a notorious white supremacist who founded Aryan Nations in northern Idaho. He lost a 20-acre compound in 2000 when a $6.3 million civil judgment against his group led to a bankruptcy.

"Idaho didn't have room for Richard Butler and shouldn't have room for Planned Parenthood," Fischer said.

The Advocate released a transcript of a conversation between an actor presuming to be a racist and wanting to make a donation, and a woman identified as Autumn Kersey, vice president of marketing for Planned Parenthood of Idaho.

Actor: I want to specify that abortion to help a minority group, would that be possible?
Planned Parenthood: Absolutely.

Actor: Like the black community for example?
Planned Parenthood: Certainly.
Actor: The abortion – I can give money specifically for a black baby, that would be the purpose?
Planned Parenthood: Absolutely. If you wanted to designate that your gift be used to help an African-American woman in need, then we would certainly make sure that the gift was earmarked for that purpose.
Actor: Great, because I really faced trouble with affirmative action, and I don't want my kids to be disadvantaged against black kids. I just had a baby; I want to put it in his name.
Planned Parenthood: Yes, absolutely
.
Actor: And we don't, you know we just think, the less black kids out there the better.
Planned Parenthood: (Laughs) Understandable, understandable.
Actor: Right. I want to protect my son, so he can get into college.

Planned Parenthood: All right. Excuse my hesitation, this is the first time I've had a donor call and make this kind of request, so I'm excited, and want to make sure I don't leave anything out.

The investigation included calls to Planned Parenthood in Idaho and half a dozen other states

"I think Idahoans are going to be horrified and shocked at the blatant racism and bigotry exhibited by our local Planned Parenthood affiliate," said Fischer. "I just cannot imagine they're going to stand for that."

He said the timing of the release of the information was intriguing, because the Idaho Legislature is scheduled this week to have its first public hearing on a bill written to prevent Idaho women from being forced into having abortions they do not want.

Rose said students at UCLA now have begun a petition to request the school cut its affiliations with Planned Parenthood.

She said the actor specifically asked about lowering "the number of black people," and each PP branch called agreed to process the racially earmarked donation.

"None expressed concern about the racist reasoning for the donation," The Advocate said.

The Advocate said an Ohio representative, identified as Lisa Hutton, listens to the racist reasoning, but confirmed Planned Parenthood "will accept the money for whatever reason."

Rose said her UCLA campaign has been endorsed by Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, who said she supports "the student campaign to get UCLA to cease its programs with Planned Parenthood."

Another Planned Parenthood branch, in Kansas, is facing 107 misdemeanor and felonies charges for allegedly violating Kansas abortion law.

WND reported Rose previously posed as a 15-year-old seeking an abortion at a Planned Parenthood center in Santa Monica, Calif. She was equipped with a hidden camera when she met with an employee to discuss her options.

When Rose revealed she was 15 and her boyfriend was 23, the employee informed her Planned Parenthood was legally required to report the statutory rape, a transcript of the conversation shows.

The Planned Parenthood representative then suggested she could say she was 16 and avoid complications.

"Well, just figure out a birth date that works. And I don't know anything," the rep said.

The Texas-based pro-life group Life Dynamics previously conducted an extensive undercover project in which an adult volunteer posing as a 13-year-old called every Planned Parenthood clinic in the U.S., saying she was pregnant by a 22-year-old boyfriend. Almost without exception, the clinics advised her to obtain an abortion without her parents' knowledge and told her how to protect her boyfriend, who would be guilty in any state of statutory rape.

An Open Letter to the Selectively Outraged Hypocrites of the Year, Mike and Mike in the Morning

MikeandMike@ESPNRADIO.com

Dear Mike and Mike,

You two sure were outraged when Don Imus referred to the Rutgers basketball team as "nappy-headed hos." In fact, you two were so upset by these comments that you even brought the Rutgers' head coach, Vivian Stringer, on to your show to discuss the issue.

And, of course, you two were again selectively outraged when Kelly Tilghman joked that young golfers might want to lynch Tiger Woods.

Your network fired Rush Limbaugh for saying Donovan McNabb was "overrated" and you two have both criticized Limbaugh's remarks.

Mel Gibson has received a great deal of criticism from you two.

So what happens when the two of you, in person, witness a famous sports personality bash an entire religion and let loose with a "F*** Jesus." What happens?

Did you two immediately go on the air and bash this person? Did you two immediately demand that she be fired? Did you two even report on the story at all?

Well of course not! She works for your station - ESPN. ESPN - the station that goes 24/7 when an athlete like Michael Richardson calls someone a "homo."

You two phonies were there when Dana Richardson said "F*** Jesus." Why the slience? You two, who are so outraged at any other slip of the tongue, have been mute about you cohort's outragous statements.

And this is not the only issue.

ESPN, and particularly your own show, has spent years talking about Barry Bonds and steroids. Your show spends almost an hour every day talking about Roger Clemens and steroids.

So what happens when Mike Golic admits on the here that he himself has used steroids? Mike Greenberg immediately changes the subject.

As reported by the Awful Announcing Blogspot:

I'm almost enraged that Greenberg doesn't even flinch when this is said. This is sports reporting at its worst. Your longtime partner is admitting to using steroids on National airwaves, and the topic is completely glossed over. How does this happen?

For as much time and effort that ESPN puts into reporting on Steroids how would they not tap into a resource that's admitting on-air that he did them.....WHILE STILL PLAYING!!! ESPN has had stories on the issue from acquiring performance enhancing drugs all the way to how they react with your body (and everything in between). I'll try to get the audio up later today, but am I that off-base on this one? Doesn't this seem the height of hypocrisy? I mean both of the Mikes completely bashed Barry Bonds for 3 months straight, but this isn't even talked about?!?!?

Ridiculous.

Show some integrity and report the Dana Jacobson story.

Blogger News Network reports the following:

ESPN’s Dana Jacobson’s Drunken Rant: ‘F**K Jesus’

January 20th, 2008 by Warner Todd Huston

Back on January 12th, the pressofatlanticcity.com reported on the aftermath of an event sponsored by ESPN morning talkers “Mike & Mike” in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event, an 8th anniversary celebration in a roast style comedy show of the two hosts, Mike Golic and Mike Greenburg, was deemed “too long and uneven” by staff writer Scott Cronick, but the interesting thing is what he apparently left out about the drunken appearance by ESPN’s Dana Jacobson. It seems Jacobson was so drunk that her “comedy routine” included the always funny “f**k Jesus” but the press isn’t saying a word about this outrageous gaff.

The pressofatlanticcity.com reports that Jacobson was so drunk she was booed off the stage.

ESPN anchor Dana Jacobson made an absolute fool of herself, swilling vodka from a Belvedere bottle, mumbling along and cursing like a sailor as Mike & Mike rested their heads in their hands in embarrassment. (Comedian Eddie) Griffin came to the podium to defend her after she was booed by the crowd. Ross eventually had to pull her off stage, too.

Sounds embarrassing, of course. But what wasn’t reported is what Jacobson said to get “booed by the crowd.”

According to a report by someone in attendance at the event, Dana Jacobson said the following:

“f**k Notre dame”
“f**k touchdown Jesus”
and - the step-aside-because-lightning-is-about-to-strike… “f**k Jesus.”

So, one has to wonder why it is that she has been let off the hook by the media for saying “f**k Jesus” and for her otherwise drunken appearance? Let’s keep an eye on this to see if her anti-Christian rant becomes even more of an embarrassment for her, but since she attacked Jesus, it is quite doubtful that it will.

Most likely, she will be given a pass. After all, it’s not like she said f**k Allah, or f**k Jesse Jackson, right? After all, we should be used to the double standard that christians are OK to attack, I suppose.

The "reporters" at ESPN have skewered public figures for decades now over things said off the cuff. Now one of their own has given great offense in a public setting, and their response has been to try to cover it up. A supposed news organization trying to cover up their own dirt by suppressing the video of the recent Mike & Mike Roast.
If a coach or athlete had said such things, it would have been their lead story for several days until that person either resigned or was asked to step down. But they do not apply their microscope to themselves...apparently they are exempt. Unless of course, the groups offended - Christians, Catholics, and Notre Dame - are acceptable targets for such bigotry in their eyes.
For the past several years, Notre Dame fans have bristled at the anti-Notre Dame spin that ESPN has put on its' coverage. Now it is clear why. ESPN knowingly employs a hater of Christianity/Catholicity and Notre Dame, and aids her by trying to cover it up rather than reporting the story. It is clear that she represents the organization's view. All ND people, and Catholics in general should write other news organizations and internet sites so that the word gets out. Pressure should be brought to this bigoted organization to affect their business and push them to change.
A quiet letter of apology to Charlie Weis and Mike Golic is NOT sufficient. Jacobson's remarks were a direct attack on the Notre Dame Family and their religious beliefs. A public apology is in order.

Two New Obama Girls Speak Out

From http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59612

The leader of a black pro-life organization is blasting Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for "applauding the efforts" of those who are aborting unborn African-Americans.

Day Gardner is president of the National Black Pro-Life Union, which helps to coordinate the efforts of black pro-life groups.

"Senator Obama doesn't care that abortion has obliterated the rights of more than 15 million black children since 1973," Gardner said in a statement. "He doesn't care that abortion is the No. 1 killer of African-Americans surpassing deaths caused by accidents, heart disease, stroke, crimes, HIV-AIDS and all other deaths – combined!

"He won't make one of his powerful speeches decrying the injustice of abortion providers as they plant killing centers firmly in black communities – making it easier to kill black children. Instead, he actually applauds their efforts! These children are denied their most basic human right, which is the right to life, a right which our ancestors so proudly worked for, marched for and many of them died for."

Obama's record of supporting abortion in both the Illinois state Senate and the U.S. Senate is undisputed.

WND columnist Jill Stanek has written about Obama's opposition to Illinois' Born Alive Infant Protection Act, legislation clarifying the terms "person," "human being," "child," and "individual" in Illinois statutes included any baby born alive, no matter what gestational age or circumstance of birth.

Wrote Stanek: "In 2001 and 2002, Obama was the lone senator speaking against Born Alive on the Senate floor. In 2003, Obama killed the bill altogether by burying it alive in a committee he chaired. …

"By the third time Obama tried to snuff Born Alive, he was running for the U.S. Senate. The federal version had passed the year before unanimously in the Senate and almost unanimously in the House. Even NARAL went neutral. Pro-aborts agreed to let it pass without a fight lest they appear extreme.

"Except Obama. He decided to battle alone further left than any other senator – Boxer, Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, et al."

Concluded Gardner: "Unfortunately, Barack Obama supports the ruthless culture of death – one that includes killing the smallest Americans – too small to flee or fight back."

America's "Facist Moment" - Margaret Sanger Co-Stars in New Book by Jonah Goldberg

According to a book review by Ron Radosh in today's New York Sun, Margaret Sanger is featured prominently in Jonah Goldberg's new book, Liberal Fascism: The Secret History of the American Left, from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning .

Here is a brief excerpt from Radosh's review:

Turning to what he calls liberal racism, Mr. Goldberg offers readers his finest chapter. It is a devastating picture of how liberals adopted eugenics — a basic part of Nazi doctrine — which was not, as some liberal intellectuals have argued, an outgrowth of conservative thought. Fans of Margaret Sanger, perhaps the single most important feminist hero of the 20th century, will never be able to think of her in the same way. Mr. Goldberg dissects her hidden views of eugenics. A socialist and birth-control martyr, she favored banning reproduction of the "unfit" and regulation of everyone else's reproduction. She wrote, "More children from the fit, less from the unfit — that is the chief issue of birth control." She opposed the birth of "ill-bred, ill-trained swarms of inferior citizens." Her words reveal her motive in advocacy of birth control. She sought to remove "inferior" people from being born to poor people, whose mothers by definition were "unfit." Sanger's partisans in Planned Parenthood, the group that stemmed from her work, will be shocked to learn that her publication endorsed the Nazi eugenics program, and that Sanger herself "proudly gave a speech to a KKK rally." That was not surprising, since she clearly viewed blacks as inferior. Hence her "Negro Project," in which she sought to urge blacks to adopt birth control.
